Dear Friends,

Stewardship is about giving back to God out of his many gifts to us. In order to meet our current commitments and to achieve new growth as part of our vision for the parish, we need the support of our members and of the wider community. We are challenged to be generous in every aspect of our lives - it's not just about money, but also about offering our hospitality, our time and our skills.

There has been a church on the site of All Hallows for over 1,300 years - our Grade 1 listed building is an integral part of the City of London, playing an important part in the lives of countless people over the generations. It is our mission to ensure that this sacred space is used to help people encounter God and grow in faith, and to preserve it for future generations, both as a place of worship and a focus for the local community.

Our Stewardship campaign is an opportunity for us to thank God for his gifts and reflect prayerfully on how we, in turn, are called to respond in our giving to God’s mission, both financially and through volunteering for our parish church. There are many unique and exciting possibilities in a church such as ours, from the care of our Sunday congregation to our outreach to the many tourists who visit Tower Hill and the support of the workers in nearby businesses. We already do much, but we could do so much more.

You can find a copy of our stewardship leaflet HERE. Please read it and pray about your response, and then return your completed form to Angie Poppitt in the parish office ( If you would like more information about stewardship, or generally about our parish activities, please do not hesitate to contact me.

With very best wishes and God’s blessings for your generosity.

The Rev’d Bertrand Olivier
Vicar, All Hallows by the Tower
