New Priest in Charge

We are delighted to welcome The Rev'd Katherine Hedderly as the new Priest in Charge of All Hallows by the Tower. Katherine is also Area Dean for the City, with responsibility for leading the clergy Chapter and chairing the Deanery Synod. She will work with the Bishop and Archdeacon as a member of the Area Staff team, helping to formulate a vision for the work of the City Churches in the next phase of their development.

For the past ten years, Katherine has been the Associate Vicar for Ministry at St Martin-in-the-Fields, where she was responsible for communications, finance, liturgy, administration and congregational life. She is a spiritual director and recently held the role of vocations advisor in the Two Cities area, and is a  member of the Diocesan Advisory Committee.

Katherine has a background in the film and television business, was a producer and director of an independent production company and is a graduate of the National Film & Television School and the University of Oxford. She trained at NTMTC London in Contextual Theology and was ordained in 2006, serving her curacy at St Michael & All Angels, Bedford Park. She was a churchwarden at St John’s Notting Hill, and has lived, worked and ministered in London for 30 years.  

Katherine spent most of her childhood in Nottingham, where her family are based and has lived, worked and served in London for over thirty years. She is married to Loren Mrkušić who is managing director of a film marketing company based in London and Berlin.They have extended family here, in Croatia, and in Laos.

Katherine says; ‘I am delighted to be here at All Hallows and in the City, and to be sharing in mission and ministry with the parish and the Deanery. I am looking forward to this new chapter in our life together with God.’
