Coronavirus COVID-19
A MESSAGE FROM THE VICAR

‘The Church continues to be alive and active,
but our buildings must close in London.’

Following a statement from the Bishop of London  All Hallows by the Tower is presently closed to all visitors.

Please join us online as we continue to be a community of hope, serving London in love and faith. We will be offering regular resources for prayer and reflection during this time via our regular weekly emails.
So that you can join in with this I do encourage you to sign up to receive them. See the ‘Join our mailing list’ on the home page and follow the instructions. When you receive an automated email asking you to confirm you wish to subscribe, please make sure you tick the weekly email option.

All Hallows has a long association with the First Love Foundation and their foodbank in Tower Hamlets. As the church is now closed we can no longer accept food donations for them, but do continue to support them at this crucial time by donating online at: https://www.firstlovefoundation.org.uk/

As we come through this worrying time we will be anxious for ourselves, our loved ones and our world, but we remember that God is faithful, a very present help in time of trouble. Our Christian faith gives us confidence that in Jesus ‘We have this hope, a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul’ (Hebrews 6.19). And so, as we journey through this time, I encourage you to rest in the knowledge and love of God, trusting that he is with us and loves us and holds us fast.

A Prayer for all those affected by the Coronavirus:

Keep us, good Lord,
under the shadow of your mercy.
Sustain and support the anxious,
be with those who care for the sick,
and lift up all who are brought low;
that we may find comfort
knowing that nothing can separate us from your love
in Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen.

With my prayers,

Katherine
