All Hallows by the Tower

Sunday 1st November 2020 11:00Patronal Festival (in church and online)The Rev'd Tricia Hillas, Priest in Charge, St Mary at Hill and Chaplain to the Speaker of the House of Commons will be preaching at our Patronal Festival. We will also be blessing the new St Ethelburga Icon, which has been kindly sponsored by our former Alderman, Richard Walduck OBE. Monday 2nd November 2020 12:30All Souls Day EucharistWe will be holding a service for All Souls on 2 November when we remember our friends and loved ones who have died. If you would like to add a name to the list of those we pray for, please email the details to Angie (parish@ahbtt.org.uk) before 30 October. If you are planning to come to the service in person, please also let Angie know as there is a limit on numbers who can attend.

19:30Mayflower: They knew they were PilgrimsWe are delighted that the script in hand performance of the Mayflower play, which was originally planned to take place at All Hallows, will now go ahead online. This exciting new play will be presented by 9 professional actors to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the "Pilgrim Fathers" landing at Provincetown, Massachusetts in November 1620.

As we begin our journey of Advent this year our hope echoes the words of the well-known Advent hymn 'Come, thou long-expected Jesus, born to set thy people free'. As we wait, our longing is for the freedom that Christ brings, hope for all, especially at this time of the Covid-19 pandemic which has brought such loss, pain and uncertainty to the world.
